Unicorn – Year 5
Autumn Term 2018
We welcome our Year 5 children and their families back to Unicorn Class for the Spring term. This term we will be studying the Ancient Greeks and their legacy, including how they influenced and shaped Britain. Following on from this we will be looking forward to studying the novel 'Holes' by Louis Sachar, which will also entail taking part in a locality project. We will be exploring a range of curriculum areas including English, Mathematics, Religious Education, Science and PE. In addition to this the children will also have music lessons with our music teacher and will embark on a range of art work linked to our Ancient Greek topic.
More information on this term's topic can be found in our curriculum booklet.
The curriculum overview for the school year is contained within our curriculum document.
