Spring Term 2018

We are looking forward to another brilliant term with our wonderful Phoenix class. Our topic this term is 'Raging Rivers' and the children will have the opportunity to learn about rivers through our various curriculum lessons. In our science lessons the children will be looking at how living things can be grouped and classified, as well as exploring habitats and how animates adapt/are suited to their habitats. The children will continue to develop their skills in all areas of maths, with a particular focus on decimals, statistics and data handling, coordinates, position and direction, and problem solving. In English the children will focus on their reading and writing, as well as developing their English skills through drama, film, and speaking and listening. The children will also experience a range of additional curriculum areas including Religious Education, PE, Computing, Design Technology and Art, Music and French.

More information on this term's topic can be found in our curriculum booklet.

The curriculum overview for the school year is contained within our curriculum document.
