Eco Council

The council’s role is to help our environment both in school and the wider community. The council is instrumental in driving sustainability initiatives in school.

Targets

• To discourage use of SUP (single-use plastic) is school

• To maintain a varied environment in the forest area
• To develop the different ways in which the school can recycle; linked to our school visits to Ford Recycling Plant
• To work with the Arundel community towards local initiatives, such as the regular 'Big Clean Up' sessions
• To liaise with West Sussex County Council and Arundel Town Council to promote parking away from the school site to drop-off and collect children from ACE
• To use Living Streets WOW resources (Walk Once a Week) to keep walking to school a main aim
• To follow the ACE pledge that was written by James, one of our pupils.
